Terms and conditions

Art. 1 – Booking Confirmation

The booking shall be deemed confirmed upon execution of this agreement and receipt of the required payment. Payment of the excursion in a single installment entitles the customer to a 10% discount on the total price.

Exclusive/private excursions may be booked no later than 8:00 p.m. on the day prior to the scheduled date. Shared excursions may be booked up to one hour before the scheduled departure time, subject to availability.

Art. 2 – Payment Terms

At the time of booking, a deposit equal to 30% of the total amount is required. The remaining balance must be paid on site prior to boarding.

Alternatively, full payment of the total amount may be made in advance, benefiting from the 10% discount.

The price of the excursion includes the costs specified in the tour description. Any charges not expressly included, such as taxes or landing fees, where applicable, are excluded.

Art. 3 – Navigation Area

Navigation is limited to the Egadi Islands area and to the zones permitted by the maritime authorizations held by the vessel.

Art. 4 – Authority of the Skipper

The skipper is responsible for the operation of the vessel and for safety on board. The skipper has the right to modify the itinerary, stops, or program if deemed necessary for safety reasons, adverse weather and sea conditions, or instructions issued by the competent authorities.

The skipper is not required to comply with any instructions that may compromise the safety of passengers or the vessel.

Art. 5 – Safety and On Board Conduct

Passengers must arrive at the boarding point at least 30 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time. Failure to arrive on time will result in forfeiture of the amount paid, with no right to a refund.

Dangerous, inappropriate, or non-compliant behavior with on-board rules may result in removal from the vessel without refund.

Swimming stops, circumnavigation routes, and visits to coves are always subject to sea conditions and shall be assessed at the sole discretion of the skipper.

Pregnant women may board only upon presentation of a medical certificate issued by their personal doctor. Upon boarding, passengers will be required to sign a specific declaration on site.

Art. 6 – Vessel Condition and Personal Responsibility

Egadi Boat Tour guarantees vessels in perfect working condition, cleanliness, and safety, in compliance with applicable regulations.

Passengers must inform the company in advance of any health conditions, allergies, or personal limitations.

Each participant is responsible for their personal belongings. The company shall not be liable for loss, theft, or damage.

Any damage caused to the vessel due to negligent behavior or failure to comply with the skipper’s instructions shall be borne by the responsible party.

Art. 7 – Customer Cancellation

To obtain a full refund, cancellation must be made at least 7 days prior to the scheduled start time of the excursion.

No refund shall be granted for cancellations made after this deadline.

In the event of no-show at boarding, the amount paid shall not be refunded.

Art. 8 – Cancellation by Egadi Boat Tour

Egadi Boat Tour reserves the right to cancel the excursion due to force majeure, adverse weather and sea conditions, or failure to reach the minimum number of participants for shared excursions.

In such cases, an alternative date will be offered where possible, or the full amount paid will be refunded, with no further compensation due.

Art. 9 – Organizer’s Obligations

Egadi Boat Tour declares that it holds the mandatory insurance coverage required by law and operates in compliance with all applicable navigation and safety regulations.

Art. 10 – Prohibited Items and Conduct On Board

It is prohibited on board to:

- carry weapons, narcotics, or hazardous materials;

- engage in disruptive or dangerous behavior;

- throw waste or objects into the sea.

Failure to comply with these rules will result in exclusion from the excursion without refund.

Art. 11 – Breakdowns or Malfunctions

In the event of unexpected breakdowns or malfunctions, Egadi Boat Tour undertakes to resolve the issue as promptly as possible. No compensation shall be due for any inconvenience suffered.

Art. 12 – Acceptance of the Conditions

By making a booking, the customer declares that they are aware of and accept the characteristics of the excursion, the vessel, and these terms and conditions.

Art. 13 – Personal Data Processing

Pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), the personal data provided shall be processed exclusively for purposes related to booking management and service provision.

Art. 14 – Complaints

Any complaints may be communicated to the skipper during the excursion or sent by email to: info@egadiboattour.it

Art. 15 – Jurisdiction

For any dispute, exclusive jurisdiction shall lie with the Court of Trapani.

Art. 16 – Applicable Law

For matters not expressly provided for herein, the provisions of the Italian Navigation Code, the Italian Civil Code, and applicable Italian law shall apply.
