Our Favignana–Levanzo excursions depart from Trapani in the morning, sail past Favignana’s most beautiful coves, stop at the port so you can explore the island on foot, then head back out toward Levanzo. You return to land when the sun begins to set and the blue grows deeper.

This Favignana excursion from Trapani is one of the most complete experiences—ideal for those looking for a true Favignana tour without rushing, guided by local skippers.

Recommended itinerary for the Favignana tour from Trapani

  • 10:00 Departure to Trapani

We recommend arriving at least 30 minutes before departure to allow sufficient time to find parking and complete the check in procedures without haste.

  • Cala Azzurra - Bue Marino - Cala Rossa - Scalo Cavallo
  • 13:00 Arrival at the port of Favignana

Free stop for about two hours

  • 15:00 Lovers’ Cave - Cala del Pozzo
  • We will set sail towards Levanzo
  • Faraglione - Cala Dogana - Cala Fredda - Cala Minnola
  • 18:00 Return to Trapani

We depart in the morning from Trapani and, after check-in, we sail toward Favignana, kicking off a full day designed to enjoy the sea without rushing. The Favignana excursion from Trapani includes stops at the island’s most loved coves: Cala Azzurra with its light sand and calm water; Bue Marino with high tuff cliffs reflecting in the blue; Cala Rossa and Scalo Cavallo, where sea colors change with every meter.

After the first swim stops, the Favignana tour continues with arrival at the port around lunchtime, leaving free time to visit the center or stop for lunch. In the afternoon, you set off again for one last swim between the Lovers’ Cave and Cala del Pozzo before heading to Levanzo.

Here, the Favignana boat excursion opens up to new scenery: the Faraglione, Cala Dogana, Cala Fredda, and Cala Minnola, wilder and quieter. It’s a complete Favignana and Levanzo excursion, ideal for those looking for sea, relaxation, and authentic landscapes, and one of the most appreciated Favignana excursions among the Favignana from Trapani options, with return scheduled for the evening.

Favignana

The main points of interest

Favignana is the largest of the Egadi Islands and represents the beating heart of the archipelago. The island’s center develops around the tourist harbor, with its distinctive butterfly-shaped layout designed by architect Giuseppe Damiani Almeyda for the Florio family.

The Florio family and the tuna fishery legacy

The island is inseparably linked to the Florio family, a Sicilian entrepreneurial dynasty that in the 19th century turned Favignana into the center of bluefin tuna fishing in the Mediterranean. The Florio Tuna Fishery plant, today the Former Florio Tuna Fishery of Favignana and Formica, is an impressive industrial archaeology site open to visitors, telling the story of the mattanza tradition and tuna processing. Palazzo Florio, the family residence, dominates the town center with elegant Liberty-style architecture.

Main points of interest

  • Castello di Santa Caterina: a Norman fortress overlooking the island from 314 meters above sea level, offering breathtaking views of the archipelago
  • Ex Stabilimento Florio: a few steps from the port, the tuna fishery museum tells the story of tuna fishing and the Florio family
  • Palazzo Florio: an elegant Liberty-style residence in the historic center, symbol of the island’s aristocratic past
  • Piazza Madrice: the heart of the town with the Mother Church and typical cafés and restaurants where you can taste local specialties
  • Port of Favignana: lively seafront with bike rentals, boutiques, gelaterias, and typical restaurants
  • Fish market: every morning at the port, a chance to discover the day’s fresh local catch

Levanzo

Where time stood still

Levanzo is the smallest and quietest of the Egadi Islands perfect for those seeking slow rhythms and simple atmospheres. The village of Cala Dogana is the only inhabited center: a few white houses, a small harbor, a handful of tables facing the sea. No equipped beaches, no crowded venues. Time moves differently here.

You discover the island by sea or on foot, following trails that lead to coves such as Cala Fredda and Cala Minnola. The seabeds are rich, perfect for swimming and snorkeling. During an excursion that includes Levanzo, the island is a different kind of pause: less touristy, more authentic—a calm stop before heading back to Trapani.

Our excursions are also available for private events: birthdays, corporate team building, bachelor or bachelorette parties. The boat becomes a private space, with a custom itinerary and timings agreed together. A different way to celebrate, away from the crowds, in close contact with the sea and the essence of the Egadi Islands.
